The ground rules for using Friends of Foodie. See also the community guidelines.
What Friends of Foodie is
A place for neighbours to list home-cooked and farm-fresh food and connect with each other. We don't cook, grow, sell, deliver or inspect the food, and we aren't a party to any sale.
Your account
Use your real name or a name neighbours will recognise, keep your sign-in secure, and keep your location accurate. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
Selling food
If you sell, you're responsible for what you sell: safe preparation, handling and storage, honest descriptions and allergens, and following the cottage food, egg, meat and dairy rules where you live. Follow the community guidelines.
Buying food
You decide who to buy from. Read the listing and the seller's reviews, ask about ingredients and allergens, and arrange payment and hand-off directly with the seller.
What you post
You keep ownership of your photos and words. By posting them you let us display them on Friends of Foodie. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.
Moderation
We can remove listings, reviews or messages and suspend or ban accounts that break these terms or the community guidelines.
No warranty
Friends of Foodie is provided as is. We can't guarantee any listing, cook, buyer or meal, and we aren't liable for food, payments or hand-offs arranged between users.
